The ingredients needed to make Ukodo:

  1. {Get of Chicken or goat meat (cut into bite sized pieces).
  2. {Take of Dried fish.
  3. {Prepare of large yam slices (about 600g).
  4. {Make ready of unripe plantains.
  5. {Take of peppersoup spice mix.
  6. {Get of crayfish.
  7. {Make ready of small onion.
  8. {Prepare of ground cayenne pepper.

  10. {Take of Native salt (you can replace with Seasoning cube).

Steps to make Ukodo:

  1. Wash the meat with warm water and salt. Wash the fish with hot water and salt Peel and cut your yam and plantains into bite sized pieces. Grind the crayfish and chop the onion..
  2. Steam your meat with the onion, 1 Seasoning cube and some salt..
  3. After 15mins, add the dried fish, peppersoup spice, pepper and one litre of water; cook till the meat is done..
  4. When the meat is almost done, add your yam and plantain and cook till done..
  5. When your yam and plantain are done, add your crayfish and native salt and mix. Cook for a few minutes and turn off heat. Your ukodo is ready!.
