- Soak 2 cups chole overnight.Then pressure cook them in morning with 1/2 tsp salt and a tea bag..
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1 chopped Onion,few chopped garlic cloves and a chopped green chilli. Cook for a minute.Then add 1 cup pureed tomato. Let it cook until it's water evaporates completely..
- Then make a paste of the spices.. 1/2 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp turmeric powder + 1/4 tsp dhaniya powder + 1 tsp garam Masala + chole masala. Add this paste to the pan..
- Add cooked chole, water as required, give a boil.. Sprinkle chopped coriander and ginger slivers.
- In a big bowl, Add 2.5 cup of flour+ 1/4 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp baking soda + 1.5 tsp sugar+ salt as required. Make a well in the center and add 4 tbsp curd+2-2.5 tbsp oil+ 3/4 cup water or as required to knead a soft dough...
- Make a dough, keep it aside covered for around 2 hours. Take a ball, roll the dough with chopped coriander over it. I have cooked kulcha on skillet itself..
